This is a unique opportunity for ATSSA members to interact with high-level policymakers, members of congress and congressional staff, and hear from department of transportation (DOT) officials, all while social distancing.
In addition to making a difference at the Federal level, ATSSA also works to advance roadway safety through grassroots efforts. Working with local ATSSA chapters, the Association's State Government Relations staff is here to help you meet with state elected officials and have your voice heard.
The 2020 Legislative Briefing & Fly-In was held virtually due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions and the closure of the Capitol building to the public. The event included 95 ATSSA members in attendance from 25 states who accomplished 54 congressional meetings.
ATSSA’s 2019 Legislative Briefing & Fly-In was held in Washington, D.C. and included 91 ATSSA members (with 21 first-time attendees) from 35 states who were able to accomplish an impressive 165 congressional meetings in just 8 hours.
American Traffic Safety Services Association represents the roadway safety infrastructure industry with effective legislative advocacy, traffic control safety training and a far-reaching member partnership.
