The 2009 Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) was offered for purchase by ATSSA in three versions or parts, each sized at 6 x 9″. The MUTCD is written by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), with the newest version available in various formats at discounted prices through a cooperative effort between ATSSA, AASHTO and ITE.

ATSSA sold these 2009 formats:

  • Parts 1, 5 & 6 – The field manual for Temporary Traffic Control Professionals (perfect bound; first and original version of the 2009 MUTCD)
  • Parts 1, 3 & 6 – The field manual for Pavement Marking Professionals (perfect bound; second version of the 2009 MUTCD)
  • Parts 1, 3 & 6 – The field manual for Pavement Marking Professionals (coil bound; second version of the 2009 MUTCD)

The 2009 MUTCD was replaced by the 11th Edition MUTCD by the FHWA in December 2023. Order the newest version from ATSSA!
