The Celebration of Construction on the National Mall is held every two years to spotlight the contributions of equipment manufacturers and the many innovations driving safer, sustainable infrastructure projects across America. Hosted by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), the event draws a variety of groups dedicated to infrastructure that will display tools of the trade on the National Mall between the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History and the Smithsonian Institution Building (The Castle).

The event’s theme is “Building a Stronger America” and runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., May 14-16. The location is easily accessed via the Smithsonian Metro Station.

  • Highlights emerging technologies, from electrification to automation
  • Raises awareness of critical workforce needs and solutions
  • Creates opportunities to influence policymakers and public perception
  • Underscores manufacturers’ investments in safety, sustainability, and innovation.
