Epic Solutions Inc. announced Davies Imperial Coatings as the winning bidder for a ThermoMark™ 300 Series Handliner offered at auction this year to benefit the American Traffic Safety Services (ATSS) Foundation.

ATSSA members and nonmembers were encouraged to submit bids for the American-made device and an accompanying 4-inch steel die.

Epic Solutions Inc., based in Fargo, N.D., held the auction to support the work of the ATSS Foundation in promoting roadway safety through charitable giving and public awareness programs.

Among the Foundation programs are the National Work Zone Memorial, which includes more than 1,600 names of people killed in roadway work zones, a youth activity book that helps educate students about the importance of work zone safety, and a teen driver program that offers new drivers instruction on how to navigate work zones. The Foundation also offers Roadway Worker Memorial Scholarships, which help the dependents of roadway workers killed or permanently disabled in work zones pursue their educational goals.

Epic Solutions recently presented the ThermoMark 300 to Brad Henry of Davies Imperial Coatings, according to Epic Solutions National Sales Manager Tom Heine.

“We are grateful to Epic Solutions for allowing one of their great products to be auctioned for the benefit of the Foundation,” said Foundation Board Chair Kevin Shelton. “It is generous efforts like this that help the ATSS Foundation carry on the work it does to educate the public and support roadway workers and their families.”

The ThermoMark™ 300 Series Handliner is built with extreme-durable aluminum and features a 300-pound capacity, insulated reservoir, “no tools” EZ-adjustable bead dispensing system, easy-access regulator trap door, and steel dies.

In notifying the Foundation of its intention to hold the auction, Heine said the company “has always been a major supporter and believer in the various ATSSA chapters and Foundation. The auction serves a great purpose and gives back to those that need it the most.”
