Sean Duffy

ATSSA President & CEO Stacy Tetschner issued the following statement regarding this week’s nomination by President-Elect Donald Trump of former Wisconsin Rep. Sean Duffy to serve as Secretary of Transportation.

“ATSSA would like to congratulate Sean Duffy on his nomination to serve as the next leader of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT). Former Rep. Duffy has served as a well-respected member of Congress, and he understands the importance of good governance and the value of a strong partnership with the private sector,” Tetschner said. “We look forward to working with him and the entire USDOT team as we begin the reauthorization process for the next historic surface transportation bill. Together, we can continue our mission to make our roads safer and bring the number of roadway fatalities across the country to zero.”
