Apply now for public agency scholarships and join industry peers at the 2025 Convention & Traffic Expo

County, city, state and federal transportation agency officials encouraged to apply

Transportation agency employees are encouraged to join their industry peers and cohorts at ATSSA’s 2025 Convention & Traffic Expo in Orlando, Florida and can receive travel and housing assistance through the Public Agency and Marty Weed Engineering Scholarships. These scholarships provide department of transportation (DOT) officials with the opportunity to network with thousands of industry peers and engage with the latest in roadway safety infrastructure advancements and technology at the largest gathering of roadway safety industry officials in North America.

ATSSA’s 2024 Expo brought a record-breaking crowd of over 4,000 roadway safety professionals and more are expected for the 55th annual event in Orlando, Feb. 28 – March 4.

Applications are now open for the upcoming Convention & Traffic Expo, which will include the New Products Rollout (NPRO), featuring some of the most advanced and groundbreaking tech in the roadway safety infrastructure industry, the Innovation Award for the top product and tech as judged by DOT officials, and the exciting Circle of Innovation meeting, where transportation officials from throughout the United States and across the globe discuss the latest in roadway safety topics.

On the topic of DOT member attendance, ATSSA President & CEO Stacy Tetschner commented, “ATSSA appreciates the partnerships we have with public agencies and recognizes the value of helping their employees get first-hand exposure to the technologies being developed for roadway safety infrastructure. We have seen the tremendous benefit for newcomers who attend the Convention & Traffic Expo and are exposed to new ideas and can have one-on-one interactions with people from every aspect of the industry. That’s why we encourage DOT personnel – new and veteran – to apply for these scholarships.”

This event provides an opportunity for DOT officials and industry members to experience every angle of the roadway safety space, from pavement marking and traffic control to advanced autonomous vehicles and safety technology and everything in between.

ATSSA is offering over 100 scholarships to public agency members to attend the 2025 Convention & Traffic Expo.

Public agency officials at city, county, state and federal agencies are encouraged to apply for a scholarship, which provides:
