National Work Zone Awareness Week (NWZAW) is an annual spring campaign held at the start of construction season to encourage safe driving through highway work zones. The key message is for drivers to use extra caution in work zones.
Support safe work zones April 21-25, with host North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). This year’s theme is, “Respect the zone so we all get home.” Learn how to participate at NWZAW.org.
Work zone accessories like pins, ribbons, car decals, the award winning educational youth activity book and more are available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the ATSS Foundation. Order by March 31 to receive them in time for NWZAW.
