While ATSSA members focus on advancing roadway safety, digital thieves are actively seeking opportunities to infiltrate business operations to rob them of profits and other prized assets.

Technology offers incredible efficiencies but also opens the door to a host of vulnerabilities.

“The increasing risks member businesses face from digital crime is why we are offering a June 4 webinar to address the threats posed by digital and banking scams,” said ATSSA Vice President of Experiences Jason Yusko. “The odds are increasingly high that companies of any size can become the target of sophisticated digital fraud, which comes in a variety of forms and can bring devastating consequences.”

Companies victimized by digital attacks can face financial losses as well as damage to their reputation.

Information Security Officer (CISO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Ingevity, the parent company of ATSSA member Ozark Materials.

“ATSSA is committed to fostering an open dialogue within our community to raise awareness and destigmatize falling victim to these attacks,” Yusko said. “Company leaders need to be equipped to address the increasingly sophisticated methods employed by digital criminals. By working together and sharing our experiences and expertise, we can strengthen our defenses and protect our industry.”
