
National Work Zone Awareness Week (NWZAW) is an annual spring campaign held at the start of construction season to encourage safe driving through highway work zones. The key message is for drivers to use extra caution in work zones.

Support safe work zones April 20-24, with host Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT). This year’s theme is “Safe Actions Save Lives.” Learn how to participate and get the poster, guides, resources, and more at the newly-updated NWZAW.org.
Purchase Work Zone Accessories
Work zone accessories like pins, ribbons, car decals, the award winning educational youth activity book and more are available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the ATSS Foundation. Orders are due by March 31 to receive them in time for NWZAW.
