The newly-formed Young Professionals & Emerging Leaders (YP&EL) Council started in 2026, after being a task force for many years. The purpose of this council is to provide a structured platform for emerging leaders to connect, grow and contribute to the Association’s future. It reinforces ATSSA’s commitment to engaging young professionals through the four pillars of Advocacy, Volunteering, Professional Development and Mentoring & Networking.

To participate in the council, individuals must be age 40 or younger and work for an ATSSA member company.

The young professionals and emerging leaders initiative aims to attract and engage new, younger members and employees in the industry and offer:

  • Meaningful meeting and event networking opportunities
  • Peer and leadership mentoring
  • Employer engagement strategies
  • Chapter level opportunities
  • Leadership and professional training opportunities
  • And more!
