Outgoing President and CEO Roger Wentz, who retires at the end of this month, and Board Chair Greg Driskell, pictured in the center above, introduced Tetschner to the group during a breakfast meeting after which Tetschner shared a bit about his vision for the Association and then greeted the staff individually. (Pictured above with Driskell and Tetschner is Bianca Harris, a customer success representative.) Tetschner shared that he is enthusiastic to be part of ATSSA’s work to save lives and is not coming in to change things but to build on the foundation already established. He said he has an entrepreneurial spirit, is always open to new ideas and believes in servant leadership. Driskell, who was part of the hiring process as a member of the Board of Directors, shared that finalists were chosen because of their “fitness” for the position. He said the board then assessed them for their “fit” with the membership, the staff and the mission of the organization. He said it was a “decisive and unanimous” decision to select Tetschner who starts on March 16.
