ATSSA is cultivating the roadway safety infrastructure industry’s future leaders through a Young Industry Professionals (YIP) community.
Introduced at ATSSA’s 49th Annual Convention & Traffic Expo, the initiative includes a task force of professionals under the age of 40, identifying ways to broaden their network and inspire innovative thinking.

ATSSA's board of directors recently approved the formation of a Traffic Signals Unit as a membership unit category within the association earlier this year at the March board meeting.

The American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA), continuing in its role as the leader in roadway safety infrastructure, has established a Traffic Signals Unit membership category.

Connected and Automated Vehicles (CAVs) rely heavily on ATSSA member products such as pavement markings, signs, and traffic control devices. These products will be an essential factor in the advancement of CAVs and critical in moving toward zero deaths on our roadways.

ATSSA’s board of directors help set the tone for the strategic objectives and efforts to collectively lead the association in addressing critical issues within the roadway safety infrastructure industry.

ATSSA’s 2018 Midyear Meeting was a success, bringing more than 300 members and industry partners from across the United States together in Williamsburg, Virginia to discuss the future of the roadway safety industry.

The association works to provide high-quality training to roadway workers and advocates for transportation and infrastructure legislation and funding.
