Listen to Tetschner discuss ATSSA’s recent Convention & Traffic Expo and provide a preview of this year’s National Work Zone Awareness Week. National Work Zone Awareness Week is April 26-30 with a kickoff event in Michigan on April 27. The new ATSSA podcast starts today and runs for nearly 26 minutes. It includes discussion of smart work zones and the 2021 Convention & Traffic Expo, which included a Roadway Worker Protection Summit, a Workforce Development Open Forum and dozens of education sessions. Tetschner’s first podcast aired last August and is still available online. It covered issues related to work zone safety and ATSSA history. It is listed as American Traffic Safety Services Association and runs for 19 minutes. Down with the Dig hosts discuss safety, technology and legislation issues related to the Ohio Valley Region with their guests. The podcasts are produced by the Ohio Laborers-Employers Cooperation Education Trust. Down with the Dig also promotes ATSSA’s Roadway Safety magazine, the National Work Zone Memorial and The ATSS Foundation’s youth activity book, which is available for download.
