CODE OF ETHICS

As of July 21, 1995

PURPOSE: To set forth the principles and standards of conduct as a member of the American Traffic Safety Services Association.

As a member of ATSSA I agree that I will maintain the highest ethical and moral standards in my contact with suppliers, customers, the public, ATSSA, and its members by:

  1. Observance of Laws and Regulations
    Conduct my business in accordance with the letter, spirit, and intent of all relevant laws, specifications, regulations, and applicable association standards.
  2. Truth in Advertising
    Insure that all of my business communications and advertising will be truthful and in good taste; free of false claims and statements.
  3. Product Quality
    Offer services and products which meet all applicable local and national standards and specifications.
  4. Worker Safety
    Provide employees a safe working environment and promote worker safety through education and training.
  5. Environmental Awareness and Compliance
    To educate myself and employees on applicable environmental laws and regulations and to comply with all such laws and regulations that apply to my business.
  6. Relations with ATSSA
    Conform to and support the charter, bylaws, and rules of ATSSA and provide factual and accurate information to ATSSA as it may be required for the determination of membership status, category, or dues level.
  7. Training of Employees
    Strive to improve quality of service by providing training and educational opportunities to increase the expertise and qualifications of my employees.
