ATSSA Urges Congressional Leadership to Include Safety in Stimulus Package

ATSSA has been closely monitoring the discussions on stimulus spending over the past several weeks.  Congress is discussing the possibility of moving forward with a stimulus package that would focus some of the funding on transportation infrastructure during the 111th Congress.  Discussion on the dollar figure for the stimulus package has recently ranged from up to $500 to $700 billion. 

ATSSA sent letters addressing the need to focus stimulus dollars on transportation infrastructure and roadway safety to Congress on December 4, 2008.  To read the letters sent to specific individuals, click on their name link below:
