FULL Membership Application 

Full Member Qualifications:  To qualify as a Full Member of
this association a firm must derive income through the:
1. manufacture, fabrication, or installation of traffic signs;
2. application of pavement markings;
3. rental, installation and servicing of work zone traffic control and
    highway safety devices;?n         
4. perform traffic control operations;
5. manufacture or supply roadway safety devices,
    materials, components or other services.

Affiliate Membership Application

To become an Affiliate member of ATSSA the firm’s primary business must be a provider of roadway safety services devices and DOES NOT qualify for any other membership category.

Associate Membership Application
To qualify as an Associate Member of this association, a person must be a full time employee of a Full, Affiliate, Traffic Engineering & Design Firm, or International Member. 

Individual Consultant Member Application

Must be a self-employed individual who provides professional services to the roadway safety industry or transportation agency in the areas of accident reconstruction, expert witness, accident analysis or the design and/or inspection of traffic control plans and must not qualify under any other membership category.

Instructor Member Application

To qualify as an Instructor Member of this association, a person must have a current instructor certificate from ATSSA and does not qualify under any other membership category.

International Membership Application

Firm must meet the qualifications of either a full, affiliate or traffic engineering & design firm and NOT HAVE an office or do business within the United States.

Manufacturers Representative Member Application

Must be a self-employed individual and must represent the products of at least one (1) ATSSA member company.

Supplemental Division Representative Member Application

The Supplemental Division Representative Member category is designed to give ATSSA members an increased level of participation in the governance area of ATSSA. Many members have diverse corporate operations that extend beyond their original membership division. For example, if a member of the Traffic Services Division also installs pavement markings, and would like representation and leadership on the Operating Committee or Board of Directors, then they would apply for Representative Membership in the Pavement Marking Division. 
 
If a Full Member company conducts supplemental operations substantial enough to qualify for membership in another full Member Division, it may be entitled to enroll one or more full time employees as Supplemental Division Representative Member. Supplemental Division Representative Members are eligible to vote in the affairs of the Association for the division they will represent (from the selected box below).

Traffic Engineering & Design Membership Application

To qualify as a Traffic Engineering and Design Firm Member, a firm must provide professional traffic engineering, planning and design services to government agencies and/or private industry and must not qualify under any other membership category.

Transportation Agency Official Membership Application

To qualify as a Transportation Agency Official Member of this association, a person must be either a full-time or retired employee of a public agency at the federal, state or local level or a full-time employee of a utility company or college/university and must not be an employee of or have a fiduciary or pecuniary interest in any legal entity which is eligible for membership in any other category.
