NEW REQUIREMENTS-EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:
Changes to Flagger (F) and Flagger Instructor Training (FIT) Programs

• If you are a certified ATSSA Flagging Instructor and do not have a user number and password, you need to sign the "Web Usage Agreement" and fax it to ATSSA. You will then be e-mailed your user ID and password. You can either download this as a PDF file or a Microsoft Word file. If you have problems or questions, contact the training department at training@atssa.com or call 1-877-642-4637

• This area is for ATSSA Instructors only. You can get answers to questions and print forms that you need when teaching an ATSSA training class. We will also be posting up to date training materials as they become available as well as state specific training information. State Flagging Requirements: FL DOT Specification Changes (Aug. 1, 2002)

• Certification required. Orange/Vest Garments and Work Zone Signs
• Hardhat required. DOT employees must wear orange. Download the document for more specific details.

As an ATSSA qualified flagging instructor, you will:

1. Be using the state-of-the-art program developed by ATSSA with input from AASHTO who are concerned with traffic safety and flagging. ATSSA knows the industry because they are the industry.
