ATSSA members are concerned with the advancement of road safety for all users. They accomplish this through the design, manufacture, and installation of road safety and traffic control devices. The goal is to move Toward Zero Deaths on our nation's roads.

A Full Member is a firm that must derive income through specific means.
An Affiliate Member's primary business must be a provider of road safety services and devices.
An Associate Member is a full-time employee of an Affiliate, Traffic Engineering & Design Firm, or International Member.
Individual Consultant Membership
An Individual Consultant Member is a self-employed individual who provides professional services to the road safety industry or transportation age.
An Instructor Member must have a current instructor certificate from ATSSA.
An International Member must meet the qualifications of either an Affiliate or Traffic Engineering & Design Firm.
Manufacturers Representative Individual/Firm Membership
A Manufacturers Representative must be self-employed and must represent, but not stock or distribute, the products of at least one ATSSA member company.
Supplemental Division Representative Member Application
The Supplemental Division Representative is designed to give ATSSA members an increased level of participation in the governance area of ATSSA.
Traffic Engineering & Design Firm (T-Firm) Membership Application
A Traffic Engineering and Design firm must provide professional traffic engineering, planning and design services to government agencies and/or private industry.
Public Agency Membership Application
A Public Agency Member must be a public agency at the federal, state, county or local level, a utility company, or a college/university.
