Government Relations
ATSSA members nationwide are strong advocates for the public as they advance roadway safety with state officials and legislators. There are twenty-six states with ATSSA Chapters as well as ATSSA activists around the country to spearhead conversation with decision makers at the state level.

AARP (American Association of Retired Persons) - AARP In Your State: Identify state advocacy issues, community service programs, AARP chapter leadership and locations.
American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials - Website with state departments of transportation.
National Association of Secretaries of State
– Locate election and voter information on the Secretary of State website from each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia and the territories.
National Conference of State Legislatures - Database contains State Constitutions, Bills, Issue Reports and
