Please join us for the 22nd Annual Foundation Golf Classic Tournament scheduled for Friday, February 22, 2013 at Sycuan Golf Resort in El Cajon, Calif. The golf tournament will be held in conjunction with ATSSA’s 2013 Convention & Traffic Expo in San Diego, Fla.
Sycuan Golf Resort is comprised of 36 holes of Championship golf and an 18-hole par three golf course to round out a spectacular 54 hole resort located in the Sweetwater River Valley just 30 minutes from the San Diego airport. The Oak Glen golf course was the first of the two championship golf courses to be opened for play in January of 1956. Pine Glen was opened for play a few months later in October of 1956. Willow Glen, the second of the two championship golf courses opened for play in April of 1961.
The golf tournament is the Foundation’s biggest fundraiser. The money raised helps support the Foundation’s educational and public awareness programs throughout the year. Our programs include the Roadway Worker Memorial Scholarship, the National Work Zone Memorial, and the Virginia Teen Driver Safety Public Service Announcement Video Contest. Thanks to last year’s golf sponsors and players, the Foundation was able to help 5 young students continue their education by awarding each of them a scholarship.
Sponsorship opportunities range from $300 - $10,000. Most include free player registrations and feature corporate recognition during the golf tournament and at ATSSA’s 43rd Annual Convention & Traffic Expo. Individuals may register to play for $275 each. You may choose your own team or be randomly paired with other golfers.
If you would like to play, become a sponsor, or both to help support the Foundation’s programs, please contact Lori Wilcox at 800-272-8772 or firstname.lastname@example.org
